For a small shot like that you have a very very small chance of somthing bad happening, not a zero chance but very small. I was saying about going to a colder plug, if the ones you have are colder than stock you will be fine. As far as shifting goes do what NOS/MAN said and all will be good.

Man, he is only hitting a 75 shot, all that stuff is kinda overdoing it, it is nice have but not needed. You might want to pul out like 2* or 3* but that is it, you can run you stock plugs. I would'nt pull any timing out but thats me, I spray a 250 shot out of the hole though too. All joking aside you would have to try really hard to hurt the motor on a 75 shot, if it was a Honda motor it would be a different story.
Overdoing it? He has no experience with Nitrous Oxide in the slightest.

I've got a friend who back when he was in HS ran a 150 shot on his stock 92' 5.0 and never had any problems. Then again this guy also built a 638rwhp Mystic and working on a 1200rwhp 5.4 Turbo Modular Set up. He knew his stuff. Obsolete is somewhat new to all this basically. He might spend 300$ now to keep his car running fine but that's better then him having to buy a whole new motor because he wanted to save some money.

It's a 2 1/2 degree decrease for every 50hp however that's just a "normal" setting. Personally I would have gotten the Mallory Hyfire VI like I got for ignition. Check it out on Summit. [sm=smiley20.gif]

Any forced induction runs a risk of hurting your motor at any time.

Make sure to let off that button around 200-500rpms before you shift.

Good Luck man.

Find out what the stock plug # is for your car, then have sombody at the parts store tell you what one step colder is, generaly it will be a lower # (with autolite) eg. if you have an Autolite 85 a #84 is colder. Depending on where you buy parts it my be hard to find somone who knows what they are doing, I have good luck at my local NAPA store.

I never said he had a zero chance of hurting the car. I am not going to get into a pissing match over this, he asked a question, I gave an answer, if you don't agree thats fine. I am telling him what I would do, based on my experience, I have had spray on every one my race cars, and many of my street cars (notice I said MY, not my friends/brothers/roomates).

Pissing contest? Haha no I was just stating my opinion like you. You people take everything on the internet way to damn seriously.

Obsolete you don't have to get new plugs but if you do get some NGK's. Proven to be the best plugs.

Oh and see I've had Nitrous Oxide experience to but I figured I'd inform him on what a Fox Body COULD hold if the person knew what they were doing.

You guys and your fragile egos. Always gives me a good laugh.

Back to being confused, nitrous may not get installed...

Only thing i needed done was a hole drilled and to ground out the power switch for it.

But when i grounded it out i flipped the switch and NO light...

The switch is sposta light up when turned on,
There are three wires that go to that switch, one ground, one power, and one going to the full throttle at the foot i think, or maybe the purge...
dont know exactly i didnt hook it up
