If I purchase a 97 instrument cluster (4.6) will it plug and play with my 94 wiring (5.0)?
Any insight greatly appreciated.

 

i think you gotta have Ford initilize it or else the engine wont start. i think its a safety mechanism with the 94+ models. but someone else can correct/verify that, im not 100% sure.

Well here are some detailed photos of the back of the 94-95 clusters and 96-98 clusters. The back circuit boards are different or upgraded as you can plainly see.. but will it plug and work? Anyone *echo* ??
