Default Burn out

I already know I am going to get some are you stupid comments. I want to be able to spin burn both rear tires. What do I have to do? Is it worth it? I'm saving money to buy house but plan on getting a supercharger soon, but if this is extremly expensive then I'll spend it on SC

I don't know much about differentials, but limited slip (what the chevy guys call posi) is what makes both tires spin instead of just one. Hopefully someone else here can give you some more info.

Saleen makes an excellent differential, called Max Grip differential. A true 50-50 differential, it is one of the best avalible today.

Limited slip differential

Actually limted slip has clutches in the rear end that are suppose to grab and not let the tires spin at all or very little. Thats why they call it "LIMITED slip. Its pretty hard on a limited slip when you power brake them. If you want to spin both then get a Posi rearend. All the Stangs come with Posi rearends. What year stang do you have?

Posi and limited slip are the same thing, and not all stangs had them. 6 and 4 cyls. did not have them. Posi is the chevy term, sure grip is mopar, and safety track was ford I think. They were all clutch type although mopar did have a cone type but it sucked. You can get a locker which is toothed (and can be harsh when it locks and unlocks) or a spool if all you do is drag race (although I have one and street drive it, it is very dangerous in the rain). You can get a limited slip new look in the Summit catalog, they are all different so you will need to know what rear end you have in the car, install will vary but should be around $200 give or take.
