Default throttle body

I have a 2001 Mustang GT. I am starting to attempt to do some minor modifications. My first question is what is the best springs with a reasonible price to lower, and if I need new shocks and how far to lower? Also If I can use a larger throttly body in conjunction with a throttle bady spacer? Do I need to do any mods if I go to a 75mm throttle body?

Eibach makes some good springs...and yes if you want it done right then you'll get shocks that are rated for the springs. 1 1/2 in is a decent drop IMO and you shouldn't have many clearance issues. Shaner does awesome jobs on throttle bodies...I know he ports cobra/ lightning blowers and TB's but i'm not sure about GT's....he's a real nice guy so give him a call. Shaner is all over ls1.com and ls1tech so ask about him on those sites also....I have his S2 TB and it's awesome. http://s2performance.net/

Don't waste your money on a TB spacer because you have a dry manifold....they only help out on wet manifold motors like a carb or tbi.

Ford Racing also makes a set of lowering springs, and they are very inexpensive.

I'll second S*n on not wasting your money on a spacer. Get a good exhaust and free up the intake tract, then you'll have a good platform to work with from there. Gears and rear control arms would be very benficial as well.
