Your gonna need to do a burn out if want any type of race tire to work properly, just how it is. I know some guys who a light burn out with BFG drag radials and they seem to hook ok. Just a ? why don't you want to do a burn out?

Get a drag radial they are better than a regular tire even when cold, and if you ever want to really hook you can heat them. I like BFG, but I hear very good things about the new Micky Thompson DR
