Default aftermarket heads

This is another one I'm sure everyone has a different opinion on.

What's the best aftermarket head.

I'm personally looking for a large combustion chamber to get a low compression ration to run alot of boost. I still would like opinions for other heads, as I don't know much about them and would like to.

I think the afr's 185's are good....using a dish piston would be best than large chamber heads but the edelbrocks have a 64cc head vs the others at 58-61cc

if hes going for lots of boost, 185s arent enough...but if you have an unlimited budget, Canfields are the best hands down.

You need to make sure the heads you pick will work with your existing pistons and the valve reliefs cut into them or you run the risk of having the pistons hit the valves. The cam lift and the rocker arm ratio also affect this piston to valve clearance so be sure to check out all the information you can before you buy something you can't use without having to change a lot of other stuff like the pistons, etc.

I have dished (probe fps) pistons with valve reliefs cut in them. I'll probably be running a cam with ~.515 - .520 lift and 1.6 rockers.
