Throwing away stock exhaust??

Does anyone know if we can through our old catbacks in our regular trash pick up or do we have to take it to a dumpster

i used to work for a salvage, and this place paid a lot of money for all of our converters....they can rebuild them and sell them if they are damaged. Check around i'm sure you can find somewhere like this
