Im putting in a 5.0 347 Stroker in a 94 cobra. Right now, I have a 98 cobra motor, with a T-45 tranny, and an 8.8 rear end with 3.73 gears in it. With the new motor, what tranny and rear end will i need to complete this project? Any help would be great guys.

 

As far as the rear goes, i would recommend the detroit true trac...

 

The 8.8" will work, as will the T45. But, that being said, it also depends on the kind of power you plan on making.

 

Im aiming for around 500 horses. That would be pretty bad a$$.
