Default Gas Mileage

With the prices of gas I've been thinking
of using my stock 89 GT auto 140Kmiles less.
I was surprised when A few weeks ago
I checked the mileage and got almost
20MPG...
On such a high mileage car I am surprised.
What do you get on your Mustang???

Driving 55 mph on a two lane road 100 miles per day I can get an honest 31 mpg's.That's with UDP's,timing adjuster,S&B air filter,75mm T/B and elbow, and a full Bassani exhaust.

14-22 Imperial MPG(each gallon is 4.5 litres in Canada).Probably 16-25 mpg in American gallons...depending if city or Turnpike conditions.Gas prices up in Canada are finally falling and thats good ,however I have taken the car off the road for the winter,so I am only watching from the sidelines!

The worse mileage I ever measured on my old 88 was 17.15 or so. That was a lot of winter ( rich mixture ) driving.

U must be pounding on yours

I drive prety much like a woosy now because of the gas costs and happy cops in my area
