IMO it's all about the roush. if you've got the cash, it's a slick ride. Just buying a cobra isn't going to do too much or (IMO) impress joe blow down the street. With that lil roush badge, it just looks hot. Plus, they've got some pep!

I give a Terminator props over any typical saleen or roush, obviously the S281-E and stage 3 are a little different, but they're wayyyy to expensive for what you're getting, but I'd still rather have the Cobra, it has a better engine. You do a supercharger pulley and a tune and you can put down over 430whp, how can you beat that?

Wayyy too expensive for what you get....the stage 3 is a little cheaper than the Cobra, and it runs almost the same times as the cobra. Both have nice suspensions too and are virtually the same, only different styles right?

Better engine...is this because everything is forged in the Cobra engine?

I could be wrong but i believe the Stage 3 roush is still a 2v engine, while the Cobra is a 4v. Forged engines are much stronger than normal engines, they can handle a lot more boost. the stock Cobra motor can handle something like 850hp or something crazy, and over 20 pounds of boost. I'm not sure if those year roushs got built motors or not...

I agree. The Roush exterior mods are pretty nice, especially the side exhaust, but both the Roush and Saleen are overpriced IMO. You can buy an '03/'04 Cobra and spend less overall on mods to get a superior performance package (motor, drivetrain, suspension). And there's something special about the stock Terminator body. I just prefer it over the Roush and Saleen exterior mods. JMO.

For the money performance wise, I would never consider a Pre-S197 Saleen/Roush over an 03/04 Cobra.
