The spring needs to be curved in order to get back in place but the compressor I am using pulls it strait down. I tryed to compress just one side with strut compressors but the bolt is way too long and gets in the way. How am I supposed to get the springs back in??

 

I used the strut spring compressors but I used one on each side. I put the side that you would wrench on more toward the top of the spring. By top I mean by relation to how it will be in the car.

 

Did you remove the lower control arm? I had that removed when I did my springs and it went together pretty well.

 

i forced mine in by hand......didnt use a spring compressor for anything. maybe you should give it a shot?

I just used two compressors and tightened down more on the side I needed pulled in. It took me a while to figure out the first one but the second one I did in about 10 minutes.

 

i use a inner type spring compresser, its expensive but works on all coil springs. i do suppose you took the ft. shock loose at the bottom right ?
