Default Subframe Connectors?

What are the general installation procedures followed when installing subframe connectors? A friend of mine was telling me that since they are welded in, most of the interior has to be removed because of the heat generated.

Does this sound right?

Thanks,
Todd

You just weld em on, nothing special. Just be sure that the car's suspension is loaded (as in jacked up by the tires, NOT the frame) when their welded in. Thats all that needs to be worried about. Nothing on the interior needs to be removed, hehe lol if it got that hot then your not welding metal - your melting it hehe.
