I just changed the plugs, wires, cap and rotor. The wires that were on there curved up after the plug to miss the headers. the new wires are straight and barely touch the headers. it's the thick rubber that is touching, but this seems like bad new. will this melt the wires?

although spark plug wires are high temp heat resistant, actuall contact with the wires would completely melt them.
