i dunno if i am the only person who has noticed it but i can't find anything on the web about it but the 03 and 04 V6 hoods are the same hood that are on the 99 and 2000 cobras but the 03 and 04 hood aren't functional what do the functional 99 and 2000 cobra hoods do?

 

if they are actually functional they would be a heat extractor... but i dont recall them being open scoops.

 

i have a 2004 V6 and the vents are open but i was lookng at a 2000 cobra and the vents were open
