Removing rear seats

Hello everybody. First post and new user..

I have a 1992 v8 mustang that I am trying to remove the rear seats. I was told there is a bar? If so, where is this bar located?

Theres 2 U shaped bars mounted on the floor board that hold the bottom seat in, if thats what your asking for... Should be able to pull the top seat straight up and out then pull the bottom seat, from the back, up and slide off...

yea man just pop the seats up and unbolt that annoying U shaped bar. I think one of the bolts are torx heads? Cant remember tho, that might be for the seat belt bolt.

hey just to let you know, if you're interested, i got a fox and i took out my rear seat and put in a rear seat delete kit. it's from this guy in AZ who does some awesome work. it went in PERFECT. PM me if you're interested!
