Default shifter problem

I have the steeda tri-ax shifter and I've been having this problem lately....everytime I'm racing and my car is in high rpm's in second gear when I go to shift it into third it wont go in and I end up missing third...now this doesnt happen during normal driving only when the car is in high rpm's like I said b4...its almost like there's pressure building up I know that sounds weird..I can thou if I take my time find third but it just doesnt slide in like it used to ....what do u think is up w/ that???

well either your clutch isn't up to par, your shifting late, try adjusting the shifter a tad, you may have stretch the cable

I'll bet it's the clutch, or lack of.

Ford just posted a TSB about this, there are 2nd and 3rd gear problems with the pre '04 TR3650's - you may wanna take it in and have it looked at if its still under warranty.

so THATS my problem!

I'm going to see if an Adjustable Clutch cable will clear this up.

Got a new clutch, pressure plate, and to bearing and crap too but its not in yet.
