weight savings was about 250 lbs from over 3,450 down to 3,200 with me in it. I think the 9" rear was a bit heavier than the 8.8 too.
Been thinking about some glass parts but not ready yet. I like the old beat up sleeper look right now.
The solid motor mounts keep the engine from torquing around under the hood and pushing the intake up into the hood plus I don't have to worry about breaking them. Being solid they also stiffen the chassis for better weight transfer on the launch.
The line lock allows me to do a really nice burnout without riding the brake pedal and dragging the rear brakes. (no brakes lights on either)
And I still have all three legs although one is a whole lot shorter than the other two! LOL

Yeah, I'll probably break down and get an MSD 6AL before the year is out. It might help out on the HP some I guess but the stock Ford TFI is better good until you do more mods internally than I have done.

Yeah, my racing buddy has MSD on his monster motor and it will light your *** up big time if you ain't carefull around the wires and coil.
BTW, in case you don't know, the third leg is the one in the middle!
