i was thinkin about some cut outs, i started my stang with equal lenght shory headers and a catless h pipe, i didnt like the tone at all, its sounded really crappy i thought, why is this?[8D]

 

without any mufflers the sound is kinda raw. cutouts would sound the same way since they let the exhaust gas out ahead of the mufflers.

 

We cranked bull8t's car up with open headers, it was deep and insanely loud. It wasn't raspy or anything, but it was insanely lound - I mean like F-16 Jet fighter loud No way you could make it outta your neighborhood for more than a couple days without the cops getting called.

 

open pipes on Mustangs aren't really loud, what's LOUD is top fuel or nitro funny cars running supercharged nitromethane! Now that is what I call LOUD beyond just about anything else I've ever experienced in person. I would just love to be able to start one up in my driveway the next time my neighbors' kids drive up with their ghetto blaster stereos shaking my house windows. I've give them something that would break their damn windows! Damn I hate rap music!
