What Octane Gas?
Curious what octane most folks use. Divided it up into "stock" vehicles and modded vehicles. I'd like to what mod(s) caused you to move to higher octane if that is the case.
I realize that different areas offer different octane levels, so that's the reason for the "ish" on the octane ratings.

The only thing that would require higher octane fuel is increased compression ratio or ignition timing. Other than that often times people will run premium as a precaution if they suspect their car is running lean.
Anyone who uses premium fuel in a car that is recommended for 87 octane is wasting money and slowly hurting their performance.

Well I tried 87 and 89 in my GT and it ran like crap. It stumbled sometimes, run great, have a flat spot sometimes. Just didn't like it. When back to 92-94 and it runs perfect no hesitiaion or flat spots.
