get a flush chemical with it to flush out alot of rust and corrosion. Umm yea if your radiator is rusted or corroded out and that rust and corrosion has gotten your radiator thin - I suppose removing it may make you prone to leaks - but if thats the case its better to find out now then on a hot day on the interstate.

true, lol, so i need some sort of chemical besides the flush kit? ok i think i got it, i drain the radiator, then fill it up with water, start it up, let it run, once it gets hot the thermostat will open and the water will begin to go down, keep the radiator full with the hose, do this for like 20 minutes or however long, then while im doing this the water will be draining out of the petcock, after i do this for awhile let shut the engine off then take the hose out and let all of the water drain out from the petcock, once its done close the valve back up, then while the engine is cool, fill it up with the prestone/water mix, let it run when its starts to go down slowly fill it, get the air bubbles out, when u cant put anynmore in it and it starts to overflow, put the cap back on, then finnaly check the overflow and if it need some fill it to the neccesary level! if im wrong on any of these steps TELL ME!!!!!!!!!!! oh and obviously read the directons for the kit also, and how many gallons of antifreeze should i buy, thanks a lot MD

No you just splice the heater hose t-fitting in, hook the water hose up there, open the radiator cap (cant remember about the petcock (haha I said pet ****) and just let the car run till the water runs clear, then put the flush stuff in with water and run for like a day or two then flush again till the water runs clear then your done - thats what the instructions say anyways.
