well thats something good to know... but does anyone know of a way around my wire harness problem...
when i go for emissions and they see a 97 they are going to want to test a BODII and my harness and ECU are going to be older and a OBD I.... how does that wrk do i show up tell them i have a diff engine in my car and i need to runn OBD1 or what? let me know

so i just found out bad news... this illegal to drop the older 5.0 in a new body and i wont pass.... so what im gunna do is still buy the 97 shell and swap out the interior.. very nice! and then chop the front clip and weld it to mine to straightin the front clip of my car and replace any mest up parts on my car... just gunna take some time and a welder... which i dont know how... gunna learn.. lol and then ill be good to go... yeah !
