I wouldn't drive it...seriously. They are not meant to be driven in snow at all. It's really pretty dangerous when you think about it. That's what front wheel drive beaters are for. I have my '94 F350 for that...

Its not too bad as long as your careful. Iv never driven mine in more than an inch of snow, and I wouldnt advise trying. As long as you drive slow you should be alright with minor bad weather.

I drove my 94 GT in MO, in the wintertime for a couple of years when I lived there and didn't have any real problems... I grew up in MN and learned when to take it easy and when I could get going... one thing is for sure, narrower tires and good tread as well as getting some weight on top of the rears is going to help a bunch... I managed it with 245s and half @$$ tread with no extra weight... had to keep it nice and easy in order to keep the car moving strait forward... I think you will be fine.

If you drive in salty conditions, just make sure to get a good car wash... one that will get the underbelly really well. If you want to keep the car forever though, do the beater thing.

I never keep a car longer than 4 years so I dont care about keeping it "showroom". I will rustproof and wash the heck out of it in the winter and like i said i wont drive it when its really bad out.

I just sold my bikes because i was getting 5 months of use out of them so I want to drive the Mustang year round. Being raised in Montreal you learn to drive anything in our winters (which by the way get milder every year).

if you have to drive just take it really easy and be careful. i didnt have any problems last year in the snow and crap. thats with stock wheels w/ 215's and some weight in the back. as long as you are very careful the only things you will need to watch out for are other people that act like dumbasses. like the people w/ 4 wheel drive trucks and suvs that think because they are 4 wheel drive they can drive like its a dry day in the middle of the summer and not worry about ****.

get a front wheel drive beater or a truck. if you know what you are doing its possible to drive in the snow but its not fun when you are trying to go straight. and if its icy out good luck going up hills. then what would you do if you were to hit that patch of ice and slide your *** into something? quarter panels arent fun to replace.

I drove my Cobra one winter with Dunlop Winter Sport M2s in 245/45-17 size and it did pretty well. Never got stuck or even came close to wiping out, had no extra weight over the rear either. The only time i ever had a slight problem was going up hill through over 6 inches of snow, but i still made it. Most of the time i was passing other people on the road... get some winter tires and you will be surprised at how good it actually is. People that say u cant drive a mustang in the snow are the same kind of people that said my Probe GT wasnt gonna be good in the snow It's all about the tires, people used to drive RWD cars in the snow all the time...
