Default Winter drivers......some input.

I am buying a Mustang soon, probably middle of winter so i can get a better deal.

I wanted to know how many of you drive yours in winter. More so in Northern winters.....ice,snow, salt, bad roads etc.
What size wheels and tires do you use ?

i had to drive my 93 lx 5.0 when i was going to collage in sault ste marie in the early 90's and i suggest you buy a winter beater. my mustang would get stuck going down hill, serious. i believe i had 245's on that one.

No winter beater for me. I'll use my wifes car when theres a storm and lots of snow.

I figure i'll buy a set of winter rims and tires. I'll go for some top of the line snow tires and no wider than 185 at that.

for the winter, i was thinking of putting a couple of sandbags in the hatch...and maybe putting mud or snow tires in the back for traction...what do you guys think?
