Default Worried and need advice

So far my 03 GT has some exhaust and intake modifications. My father is worried that since my cold air intake is a fenderwell mount, the filter could fall off its supporting hose clamp and cause my engine to suck in dirty air, therefore causing my engine to be ruined. I know this situation might seem kind of silly, as I have never heard of this happening before, but i dont want to be skeptical about it. Has anyone ever heard of or experienced this kind of trouble with their fenderwell mount cold air intake? Should I be worried? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Man its no different from having the stock air filter box falling off, The chances of that happen are pretty slim. Add wire or mounting hanger for peace of mind.

there are a few kits on the market that have dual filters that prevent hydrolock, but its mainly on imports.

As long as the clamps are tight holding the filter on, I wouldn't lose any sleep about it falling off!
