so i need a clutch, throw out bearing, flywheel resurfacing, or a new one, and a pressure plate. i have been told it will be 500$(including labor) but im not sure if it is a good deal. let me know how much you guys have paid to get the same stuff done. i have a 1999 v6 mustang.

i bought the clutch kit with t/o bearing for 180 shipped and had a shop put it on for 270. I didnt have the flywheel touched though. I think 500 isnt too bad at all.

Most of that is labor. You can get the parts pretty cheap. It really depends on the set up you are running as to how much you have to spend. The Flywheels are also really cheap with the core charge. I'd just buy a new one and not fool with resurfacing it.

$150 to $180 for the clutch $100 for the new flywheel and about $40 for the throw out bearing if the clutch kit does not come with it. You will also need new bolts for the flywheel $10 and it would be a good idea to get a new pilot bearing and put it in that is also about $40. If it is the stock clutch cable I would get a new one with the new quadrant and that will be about $100. So the total will be $400-$500 for eveything with the shipping. I did mine and got everything from Brothers Performance.
