I have a 2001 cobra and i was wondering if after i do all the basic bolt-ons, Full intake and exahust, should i put some kind of chip in to compensate for the changes?

I don't think you'll NEED a chip, but they always help...

hey guy, you wont need one, but if you get one, get a custom burned chip. better yet, get some long tube headers instead of a chip burned.

after you do all the mods, you should go to a dyno tuner and have a custom chip burned for you to fully get all the benefits from your mods.

You will be surprised how that chip helps wake up those mods, I say go for it.

I have one on my GT, and it did wake up my mods.

yea I agree ...ALWAYS get a chip burned after mods that u've done..even if its just a bigger MAF ...cuz ur a/f ratio will get screwed up and a custom tune will fix all that...after I did everything that u c in my sig I got a custom burnt chip on the dyno and b4 the actuall tunin my first pull was 168 rwhp and was runnin REALLY lean...but after the tune u c my results below in my sig

yea 103 hp w/ a chip lol...the only reason my car was runnin that low in hp is b/c even in stock form when I got it dyno'd they guy said it was runnin to lean and after I put the upper intake and larger t/b it was even worse b4 hence the 168rwhp pull
