Default Pulley

I am scheduled to have my 2.8 pulley installed next Friday with a dyno tune. [sm=smiley1.gif] I would do the work myself, but don't have a puller for the Eaton. My tuner said that he would install the pulley, idlers, and plugs for less money than I would spend on a puller, so I figured I would just let him fool with it.

I needed to drive it to him for the tune anyways. I will post #'s as soon as I get them.

One other thing, he uses a Mustang Dyno and I have heard they generate lower numbers than the standard DynoJet. Anybody know the correction factor.

Thanks,
Todd

Good luck with your tune! Yea the mustang dyno's typically show about 10% or so less hp than a dynajet... Im sure your tuner has the exact correction factor for ya

Thanks MDValdosta!

I will ask him. He told me that the average for that combo with the mods I already have is between 440-460 RWHP/TQ. I'm sure that he has to be using the corrected number.

He told me it would feel like a completely different car. If it runs anything like I hear it's supposed to, I just may have to go to the track for the first time.
