Default Video surveillance & car damage!

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have any experience with OBS's Insight video surveillance systems? ( http://obsusa.com ) Supposedly it's video cameras and mics installed in the car that would record stuff if something happens to your car ...

TIA

What kind of neighborhood do you live in anyway?
If you can't leave your car alone on the street for fear that it's going to get stolen or vandalized I wouldn't have a car I would worry about.Video cameras are nice but if someone is going to do something you might as well consider it done already.Even if they are caught what happens to them? They get a fine and are let go.Now you have someone out there who REALLY wants to get you and knows a good way to do it.There are ways to vandalize a car without getting on camera.
Lock your doors, take all valuables out, don't pi$$ off your neighbors, and quit worrying about your car. After all,it IS only a car and therefore, replaceable.

I'm thinking about getting it "just in case" to record potential hit-and-runs, to find out how I get "accidental" dents, dings and scratches etc. while parked in a shopping mall lot, things like that ...

I think that it is a good idea... I have never heard of or seen anyone with it though... I did hear of a system that incorporates flame thowers on either side of the car... too bad that is illegal here in the States.
