Default HELP-QUESTION ON BIG BLOCK HEADS

Anyone out here have information on sources for the A 460 Ford heads besides Trick Flow Specialities? My racing buddy is looking for either these or what he thinks is called the C 460 heads. The heads are for a 460 big block Ford bored and stroked to 533 c.i.
Any assistance would be appreciated! Thanks!

on my boat i ran brodax, it was only .060 over and the rest stock, and the motor had to make atleast 450 hp with a 750 holley, so i would say the brodix heads are really nice and if i recall correctly they flow like 320 cfm wich is good for like 650+ hp.

thanks for the info guys. my friend found out that the C 460 heads have a smaller combustion chamber and a higher compression ratio than the A heads, so he can't use them for the blower motor he is putting together.

Ask him if he has thought about the DOVE (ford stamping number)heads. My friend had those on his car modified of course and he had 650hp at the flywheel with 13.5:1 compression.

yeah the 1970 VE 460 blocks are the strongest but i dont think the heads carry the casting number of the block.
