Default Will this effect my mileage?

I haven't had an oil change since 103,000km and im now at 111,000km.

The weather here is getting really ****ing cold and i'm getting ****tier gas mileage the colder it gets. Is this probably because of me not having an oil change in a while? Keep in mind I am running regular motor oil and I do like to keep it changed every 5-7,000km's.

Partially. The largest problem is the crappy oil itself. Dino oil doesn't flow as well at lower temperatures, anyway.

Cold air will generally lower gas milage.

I am lucky enough to have a lift in my
garage. I highly recommend it rather
than spending 30+ years laying on my
back under various cars I have owned
trying to fix or change oil. Just my
2 cents.
I would go to a jiffy lube, sit in a warm
waiting room and have the oil changed
for a little more than It would cost to
do it myself.
Mileage goes down in the cold weather,
unless you are all highway.

Full synthetic for winter cold....for anytime for that matter. Much better flow in the cold and helps your gas mileage as well. Cold weather formula fuels also contribute to poorer mileage in the winter months. Can't do a whole hell of a lot about the mileage drop off, it is a fact of cold weather driving life. Your engine always runs rich when you first start it up in the cold until it heats up to operating temperature. Rich engine = poor mileage. I use Royal Purple which has been proven to help your gas mileage increase. Check it out: www.royalpurple.com/techa/whyrpa.html

8000 km, for those of you who need a friggin conversion, is only about 5000 miles. If you ask me, at this point it is little over half-way used. The milage on your oil change shouldn't effect gas mileage for awhile. Like they said, it's jus gettin cold out.

Approximately 6,500 km between oil changes with full synthetic. No need to change at only 3,000 miles (4,800 km). By the way, my '98 GT is getting the equivalent city/highway of 32 kpg.
