I have a gas leak which is dripping somewhere
under the airbox/ MAF sensor area of
my 89GT.
I plan on putting it up on a lift today to
see where it might be from.
I did not think the gas line went that far
foreward on the frame.
Is it possible?

The line does travel down that side of the engine. But not that far over. Maybe it's traveling.

The fuel vapor cannister is in the lower front corner on the passenger's side. That's probably your leak. It may have been damaged or the line may have split from age.
