hay i was jw if neone had any suggestions for me. when i put my car in reverse and as i let off the clutch i get a grinding noise. sometimes it will go into reverse and sometimes it wont. basically if im on any kind of slope or slight incline it wont move but if im on level ground it might work and if it does itll only work for a second or two . i dont kno if its in the tranny itself or if my linkage is messed up. i was jw if neone has had this happen to thier car or knows what the problem could be. and help would be greatly appreciated -thanks

 

Just gotta play with it.. Sometimes I have to throw mine into reverse.. they've had recalls on the 2000's with the t-5's being "hard to put in 1st and reverse when not moving"..

Ive had the same problem, lol think its in, let off and it starts grinding.. just push it back in neutral and try it again.
