I am looking to buy a '92 LX 5.0 connverible, it has a rust free body, but the top and seats are shot. it runs good with 107k, it's a Automatic. from the coverters back there is no exhaust, everything works. What things should I look for when buying this car?, Mechanically it seems to be sound, but does'nt have a lot of power. any advise? thanks Chris. Previous Mustangs owned, '71 Sportsroof, '73 coupe 351 cleveland and '92 LX.

 

sounds like a beater. where is the rest of the exhaust? why was it removed? i would say dont pay more then $2000 for it. my sister has a '92 lx conv. with 63K miles. the instide is flawless and the outside looks even better. she paid $3600

sounds like the car has had a hard life
