Default Carburetor Suggestions

I have an 84 Mustang GT, and want to upgrade the Holley 650 CFM 4160 series Carb to something better, with little modification, and assuming in upgrading the intake manifold as well..

Any suggestions from anyone would be greatly appreciated with any personal experiences and advise.

Thank you in advance.

What is your level of mechanical ability? I'd suggest fuel injection. I know its an extreme change but what the hell right?
