Odd part

Default Odd part
This odd part is a black hose running through the firewall to the brake pedal with a weird syringe at the end pushing against the top of the brake pedal. I'm switching the pedal assembly from an automatice to a manual and I'm concerned about were this hose/syringe combo goes and what is does.
