which flywheel do i need for a c4 tranny? 157 or 164 tooth? well what im really asking whats the difference between the two? its bolting up to a 306 non roller block. the tranny i have is accually a c5 cause it came out of a 83 stang and thats one of the few years c5 was put in them but its basicly the same.

 

is the 164 tooth for the large c4 bellhousings and the 157 for the small bellhousings? i know c5's came with the large bellhousing.
