Default BBK CAI

Hey guys I just installed a BBK CAI and I was wondering about the metal screen in the MAS are you suppose to keep it with the new sistem. I tried to put it but it just don't look like is sealing very good. Could anything bad happens if I leave it out.

Do whatever you need to make it fit, but do NOT take it out.

Yesterday I talked to three different tech from Steeda, Powered by Ford and Holcomb Motorsports and they all said the same: leave it out.

If the pros say so then they must have a good reason, but the instructions do not say to remove the screen. More importantly, you could trip up your MAF sensor more than necessary.

I guess you could take it out, or leave it in. Let me know what you do and how it turns out.
