Well I picked up this $800 sleeper of a stang today, Its an 83 stang with 85,000 miles on the on a stroked 3.8L v6, I dont believe it was stroked that good, Cause it still feels sluggish, Damn I can smoke those tires right off its rims, So far I can tell its a stocker, You wouldn't believe what this car has, Starters:

1.) 2 stage shift kit in the trans ( damn these car barks in first second ).

2.) Posi rear end 8.8 ( not sure on the ratio ).

3.) Exhaust manifold / intake manifold / heads are ported and polished.

4.) Some kind of performance cam, Top end is really tight.

5.) New stocker brake pads and brake shoes.

Otherwise I got a damn smokin deal, Some young 18 kid was selling for $1200, I got for $800, I think I will run this ride for a bit, Then pull the motor and install 302.

looks like that might be a good winter beater car or a true sleeper when you want to smoke some ricers with it! the older and more beat up it looks, the easier it will be to blow the doors off those punk ricers with their farts cans!

Thanks for youre guys comments. Well I got the rear dif cover off, I found out the ring gear ratio, Its telling me Ive got 3.55's. I am planning to get rid of those and put in my other set of 3.73's, But the 3.55's I am getting some pretty good gas mileage off of them. Oh well you only live once I going to put in the 3.73's, hehe. Hopefully I am going to get the 302 engine after the new year.
