Default electrical

Hello, my son has a 67 mustang and we are having an electrical problem. When I take the car to Autozone the machine says no alternator output, but when I bring in the alternator it test ok. They exchanged the alternator, and I replaced the voltage regulator about a month ago. We then fired up the car and I used a multimeter to check the back of the alternator it doesn't seem to be putting out. What are my next options? It seems like we are bouncing from one problem to the next. I really could use some help. Thanks all.

have you made sure you have good solid connections
from the alternator positive (to the BAT +) and the alternator
ground to (the engine or frame). Also make sure the NEG battery
terminal has a good solid ground connection as well.

I would second that. Make sure that all the connections are good!

All connections are tight. I will double check everything. I don't think its the battery, because like I said I can put the multimeter on the back of the alternator and it says about 12.9 volts. To me thats low but it test ok at the store. Could the voltage regulator have failed? I guess I can get it checked out. Update you tomorrow.
