Default Voltage Drop

my 2.3L is having problems at keeping the voltage up. I put in a new 80 amp alternator and a new battery with CA 1000 CCA 800 and run time of 130 mins. thinking it was one of those two. well I put them in and it runs better but the voltage is still running short. I disconected all the accessories like my stereo and alarm, thinking that would help. if anybody can help me and give me an idea that would be great. when I have the car on, with headlights on and hazards and the A/C the car just about shuts off. if that helps any.

Where did you get your alternator? If you got it from a chain store , it might be bad.

also check your battery and ground connections to make sure they are clean and tight and free of any corrosion as this will kill the voltage too. if the cables show any corrsosion on the ends, you probably ought to replace them too. any auto parts store can check you charging system right on the car too, so take advantage of this service at the nearest local one who does this like Auto Zone or Advanced Auto, etc. etc.

Sounds kinda like a grounding problem to me. Better watch out, you could fry everything on the system.
