hey, i wasnt sure where to postthis so i decided here. i was just wondering what the recommended tire pressure is for a 1987 mustang. looked on the door jamb and someone ripped off the sticker[:@]

 

usually 32psi works for most any car

 

look on the tire for max tire press. and drop 3 psi

Inflate the tires to the max on the sidewall. Then, use a piece of chalk and mark across the tread. Roll the car back and forth. Reduce the air pressure until the chalk is wearing off the entire tread. Record this pressure. This is where you want to run your air pressure for max wear and economy.
