I HAVE A MACH MOTOR IN MY GT

RE: I HAVE A MACH MOTOR IN MY GT
Oh really? I know the 96 to 98 DOHC had IMRC's that did not open until 3250rpms via a little motorized box but Ford did away with them in 99 and up. I have never heard the 99 and ups valve's do not open at all this seems a little to high tech to be on a Ford. Please show me where you got this info form. I'm not saying your wrong I just need proof

If he is actually running the 2 v comp if it is adjusted right it would work but still not as good as a 4 v ecu
newer 4 v engines, the 2nd set of intake valves dont start to work until 3200 rpm so the ecu would no control this function

Yes the older 4v had the IMRC's. It a plate that goes in between the intake and the heads and there is Throttle body type valves that open after 3250.
He didn't say what year he had but he said he had a Mach motor so you can narrow it down to what year it is by that
