Default RE: clutch cable keeps breaking

At one point i had a cluch cable that broke like every week...Found out that after i pulled back the carpet and looked at the firewall there is a bushing where the cable runs threw from the clutch threw the firewall to the pedal.... my cable kept fraying little thread at a time where i would have to push so hard on the floorboard b/c it was streched and would finally broke....Check the bushing! it might be warn out and the cable is rubbing back in forth on the firewall causing it to fray and break...You might be able to order a bushing i duno...i just went to the hardwear store and bought a 2 inch thick hard plastic tube, cleaned up the firewall wherethe old bushing was disconected the cable put the tube in the hole in the firewall and ran the cable back threw and then hooked it back up....never broke since...been 4 years.....good luck
