Shipping Questions??????
Where does everyone go to ship out stuff they sell for a good price. I have some large items to sell such as seats and a hood. Just wondering how to sell i have checked everywhere and they want about $108-$198 to ship these seats. I had them on ebay and the ebay calculator said $39.xx to ship them almost anywhere. I have tried locally shipping and ups and even frieght services. I live here in charleston, wv and there's alot of shipping companies.

Howdy neighbor.I'm just up the road in P-burg.
You might be getting into oversize shipment costs.I shipped an airplane propeller once and the charges for the oversize was considerably more than regular shipments.I got with a fellow pilot at the USPS and we managed to shrink the box in diameter to get the lower rate. The E-Bay rate might be based on weight only.
You might save some money by going with a trucking company and bringing the parts to the terminal and having the customer do the pick-up at the destination.

RE: Shipping Questions??????
First off, you should break the seats in halves. There is a bolt on each side that hols it together. I shipped out my drivers seat and it cost me $38 from NY to California with USPS or $18 with my FedEx account. You can set-up a Fed-Ex account with just a credit card and tell them that you expect to ship out 20 packages a month and just make up a name for a business if you think it will help lower prices, I said I didn't have a businesss. I pay atleast 10-20% below what UPS wants for everything! I shipped out Cerwin Vega 15" Floor speakers they boxed up at 24"x24"x35" and weighed 92 lbs each. I shipped them to Canada and it only cost me $168 for both. I can ship out a hood to Cali here from NY for only $45 with insurance.
