Default reverse lights

my reverse lights went out at some point int the last month and I was wondering if it is normal for them to both go at the same time or do I have a bigger problem?

I think my switch broke about a year ago, only it kept the lights on. I half heartedly looked for the switch on the tranny, gave up and took the bulbs out. Tell me iff your switch is the problem and if/ how you fix it. I think they wanted ~$40 for a replacement

One yes, two at the same time no. You may have something else going on there.

i dont know if Im going to take a look at it right now. Aparently they arent required in Texas. I'll just be extra careful. Its just wierd because it seems like everything electrical in the car is going at the same time. The stereo, keyless entry, now this. Whats next?

About a month ago BOTH my low-beam headlights piffed out at the same time so, yea it's possible just your bulbs are blown. It's simple to check'em
