I own the RX 65, Valentine1 and the Escort X50 along with a few others and I own a few radar guns and a laser gun and I can tell you for sure the RX65 will NOT demolish the Valentine 1.
I am part of a group that tests different radar detectors and laser jammers and this has been a hobby of mine for over 20 years.
The RX 65 is a good unit but for the money I tell people to by the bel 895 or 955 because they use the older style motherboard from the RX65 and they are alot cheaper.

i have bel940 and i love it. had it for 3 months and no tickets! (knock on wood). saved me from at least 30 speed traps. but i think its not the detectors, but how wisely u use them.
