Can I use a newer dash on my 1996 Mustang ?

 

Yes!

For the most part (With the exception of option specific wiring) you can swap all dashes and interior parts from 79-04

I know, its a trip! But just like suspension peices, interior peices fit in as well.

I have a 95' Mustang that aquired all of the interior from a Mach1 including dash. Really the only thing I didnt change was the package tray.
