sounds to me like a spring loaded remote valve tensioner twisty-thingy-majiggy...you gonna need to replace it right away...its ok though, they only cost a couple bucks...

There is a sensor for your wipers, also check your fuse, it might be on it's way out the door and only working when you are blasting major current through it.

If all else fails, hang out the window and squeegee it.

hey my job is complete...to make one of are own smarter..good job*L*...

you may have a loose wire since you did replace the switch....use a meter to check for power

Problem solved. would not have been a cheap trouble shooting experience. Thank god I can read a schematic. Thanks to all who answered honestly as oppossed to sarcastically.

Not at all. Althought it did seem to be that at first. Because I could not get continuity from point A to B.

Hey Dan02GT I could not find a relay for the wipers in the schematic. Although that doesn't mean one doesn't exsist. I just could not find one. I thought for sure that a relay was the right answer
