Hey i have an 1989 mustang gt, and im installing exhaust tipsand just bought a 93 cobra rear bumper cover. Does anyone have any tips on how to install it? I see that the original gt rear cover has a spot to attach the bumper underneath the tail lights. The 93 cover doesn't seem to have anywhere to attach underneath the tailights.

If anyone has any tips on the right way to install the cover please let me know.

I have an 89GT and I made a mistake to cut
holes for the flowmaster exhaust when I
first got it many years ago. Mistake, the
plastic is not made to work without
support.
I finally got a gt virgin bumper and replaced mine
when the flowmasters finally rusted out.
I think you can use the orriginal metal from
your old one, but you must have the support
or it won't look good under the lights.
