Help with suspension upgrades
Ok I have an 02 GT vert.
-
I have Subframe connectors
-
From receipt of previous owner of my stang:
mmrica-5 MM Standard Lower Control Arms Black - For 99-03 Mustangs
BE5-6418 Bilstein heavy duty rear shock 1994-2001
V36-4138 Bilstein heavy duty front strut 1994-2001
So I'm basically wondering, now what?
I can't lower my car because I'm having clearance issues as it is but I would like it to stick to the road better around corners, and certainly I would like it to launch better.
I'm sick of hearing ricers brag about their handling

RE: Help with suspension upgrades
I've been looking around for ideas and I'd like to know what would make the most difference below are some things that I've seen for my car, input would be helpful.
Options: Panhard bars
MM Panhard Bar
Options: swaybars
Tubular front sway bar + Steeda Adjustable rear sway bar
or
Eibach Anti-Roll Kit
Options: strut tower brace
With a big twin screw SC sitting on top of my engine, do I have any options?
Options: caster-camber plates
MM Caster Camber Plates
or
Steeda Aluminum 4-Bolt Caster Camber Plates
Options: springs
???
subframe connector cross brace

RE: Help with suspension upgrades
Put some progressive rate springs in it, pick the brand of your choice. There aren't too many times I'll say this, but in this case I think the Saleen progressive rate springs are the best out there. Often Saleen products are good, but not the best. In this case I do think Saleens springs are the best.

RE: Help with suspension upgrades
If you don't want to chsnge springs you can do other suspension mods. Go with bigger set of sway bars. Change the stock rubber bushings
to polyurethane ones. A strut tower brace will also work for better handling. And if you want run a panhard bar and torque
arm setup if you really want the car to handle better. That is my next agenda for my car is a panhard bar. Good luck with the build.
